Privacy Policy

This explains what Yardsign (operated by Yardsign! LLC) collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers two different groups of people, and the distinction matters throughout:

• Agents — the licensed professionals who subscribe and use the Service.
• An agent’s clients and prospects — buyers who submit an inquiry on a published listing page, and sellers or buyers an agent records in their own pipeline. For that information, the agent (and their brokerage) decides how it is used; we simply store and process it on their behalf.

What we collect from agents

• Account — email address, name, and a hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
• Profile and branding — the details you choose to put on your materials: phone, brokerage, licence number, bio, tagline, website, social handles, logo, headshot, and lender contacts if you add them.
• Content you upload — listing photographs and any other files you supply.
• Usage records — which materials you generated, for which property, at what price point, and the Fair Housing / RESPA screening result for each piece. The screening log is deliberately durable: it is the record that shows published marketing was checked.
• Billing — your subscription status and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Card numbers never reach our servers; Stripe handles payment details directly.

What we store on an agent’s behalf

• Listing inquiries — the name, email, phone, and message a prospective buyer submits through a published listing page, and which listing it came from.
• Buyer pipeline — contacts, deal stage, search criteria (price range, bedrooms, areas, financing), and the agent’s notes.
• Seller and property records — seller contact details, prep plans, tasks, and notes an agent keeps against a property.

Buyer matching in the Service uses housing criteria only — price and bedrooms. It never uses, infers, or stores protected characteristics.

Property data

Property characteristics and sales histories come from public county assessor and recorder records. That information is public by law and is not collected from the people it concerns. Where a county publishes owner names, we exclude them from the data the Service uses.

How we use it

To operate the Service: to generate your materials, host the listing pages you publish, deliver inquiries to you, run your subscription, keep the compliance record, provide support, and keep the system secure and working. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your clients’ information to market to them or share it with other agents.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the product:

• Render — application hosting and data storage
• Cloudflare — DNS, and storage of the public county-records datasets
• Stripe — subscription payments (they receive your billing details directly)
• Resend — transactional email, such as new-inquiry alerts to you and prep-plan updates to your seller
• Anthropic — generation of listing copy and the compliance screening. Listing facts and marketing text are sent for this; your clients’ contact details are not.
• Upload-Post — publishing approved posts to social accounts you connect. Your social credentials are held by them, never by us.

We may also disclose information if legally required, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy travels with it.

Support access

Our support personnel — who may include contractors outside the United States — can view an agent’s account in order to help with a problem. That access is read-only, contact details for an agent’s clients are masked, and every access is recorded in an audit log. Support staff cannot see payment card details, which never reach us at all.

Published listing pages

Pages an agent publishes are public by design. They count page views for the agent’s own reporting, filtering out bots. Prep-plan pages shared with a seller are reachable only through an unguessable private link and are not indexed or listed anywhere.

How long we keep it

Account and client information is kept while an account is active. After closure, an export can be requested for 30 days, after which data may be deleted. Compliance screening records are retained longer, since their purpose is to evidence that published marketing was screened.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Each agent’s data is isolated per account. Published listing pages are served with a strict content-security policy and cannot run scripts. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat client contact information as the most sensitive thing here and design accordingly.

Your choices

Agents can view, correct, or export their information from within the Service, or by contacting us, and may close their account at any time. If you are an agent’s client and want your information corrected or removed, contact the agent you dealt with — they control that record. You may also contact us and we will route the request to them.

Children

The Service is for licensed real-estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post updates here and change the date above; material changes get advance notice.
